Underdogs is leading the startup education industry by providing customized coaching-based talent education. According to industry sources on the 25th, the foundation of the human resources (HR) market has been significantly expanding recently. The market horizon is widening beyond simple job placement and recruitment functions into more advanced areas. According to a survey by IBIS World, the global HR market size, including the recruitment market, is expected to reach approximately 94.59 trillion won ($76.16 billion) this year, growing 1.4% compared to the previous year. Additionally, HR tech company WantedLab projects that the domestic HR market size will reach approximately 2.85 trillion won by 2025. The domestic HR market is also expected to continue growing at an average annual growth rate of 6%. Key factors driving HR market growth include △rapid development of deep tech technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) and big data △increased job hopping centered around the 2030 generation △spreading awareness of the importance of career education. An industry official stated, "The development of technology and the surge in demand for job changers are believed to be the main causes of HR market growth," and explained that "career education and headhunting for junior and above-level talents are also expanding." Meanwhile, Underdogs has been leading the way in pioneering new markets in the HR industry since 2015, providing specialized startup education for discovering and nurturing innovative entrepreneurs. To date, more than 12,000 innovative entrepreneurs have completed Underdogs' educational programs. Additionally, 2,611 teams have completed Underdogs' startup education, and 211 startup education programs have been conducted. The number of partner companies working with them also stands at 153. Approximately 120 coaches active at Underdogs are characterized by working practically with co-founders and prospective or early-stage entrepreneurs to consider the direction in which startup teams should move forward. Content includes execution-focused business development, fundraising, and business pitching. In fact, Underdogs already occupies a leading position in the industry with diverse know-how accumulated through actual experience. Underdogs achieved 100 million won in revenue in 2015, its first year of operation, establishing its name in the market. Last year, the company achieved total revenue of 7 billion won. This year, it has achieved 13 billion won in contracts in the first half alone, demonstrating consistent growth. Recently, Underdogs declared expansion into the corporate education market. Through this, the company plans to achieve 30 billion won in revenue by next year. Specifically, Underdogs plans to diversify corporate talent development areas this year, including on-demand job and competency education by employee lifecycle, new business development talent cultivation education, and state-designated mandatory education, providing education programs tailored accordingly. Rather than one-way education focused on job skills, it provides innovative education that can enhance entrepreneurial perspective and capabilities through practical experience. Furthermore, Underdogs plans to provide its own immersive educational content for cultivating core corporate talent. Additionally, based on nationwide and global expert groups, partner growth programs, and other resources, Underdogs will provide corporate education in the Learning Experience Platform (LXP) format. The goal is to expand practical, close-contact education, Underdogs' unique strength, into the corporate education domain. An Underdogs official stated, "Based on the know-how gained from developing more than 13,000 'entrepreneurial talents' who discover problems themselves and create innovation value over nine years, we have announced our ambition to lead innovation in the recent corporate education market," and emphasized, "Through this, we will work to achieve 20 billion won in revenue this year and 30 billion won by next year."
