NH Nonghyup (Chairman Lee Sung-hee) and the Youth Foundation announced on the 3rd that they are recruiting participants for the 2nd cohort of the startup education program "NH Seed" to nurture young entrepreneurs in the agtech field. "NH Seed" is a business selected in the Ministry of Employment and Labor's "Youth-Friendly Corporate ESG Support Project" competition. It is an education program supported by NH Nonghyup Central, NH Nonghyup Bank, NH Investment & Securities, the Youth Foundation, and Underdogs to support prospective entrepreneurs who wish to start businesses in the agtech and agro-food sectors. The program targets 50 unemployed youth aged 18 to 34 who are prospective entrepreneurs or individual business owners in the agtech and agro-food fields (with annual sales under 150 million won, businesses established within 3 years, and excluding corporate business owners). Recruitment runs until September 4th, and detailed recruitment information and application forms can be found on the website. Selected participants will be offered the following opportunities over 8 weeks from September to November: ▲practical startup education based on MVP (Minimum Viable Product) ▲dedicated 1:1 team coaching ▲office rental support during the program period ▲prize money through mock demo day (total of 6 million won). Ji Woo-ho, Director of Digital Innovation at NH Nonghyup Central, said, "NH Nonghyup is supporting the activation of youth employment and startups in the agro-food sector and helping them grow into startups that can cooperate and coexist with NH Nonghyup. Through NH Seed, we will provide a foundation for young people with new technologies and ideas to enter the agricultural industry sector and work to establish a sustainable agricultural system."
