Cartier Women's Initiative and startup education company Underdogs are recruiting participants for the 3rd session of 'Under Woman Impact Community' by November 22nd. 'Under Woman' is a women's startup education program that Underdogs has conducted since 2018. It was launched to help women in their 30s and 40s who have taken career breaks develop into entrepreneurs based on their capabilities and perspectives on social innovation. Since 2021, it has been collaborating with 'Cartier Women's Initiative' to conduct conferences and community programs, all of which are free. Specifically, the program consists of 'Impact Conference' that provides professional information and insights on women entrepreneurship in the social innovation sector, impact competency enhancement startup education for women startup support (15-week course), and 'Impact Salon' where one-on-one coaching takes place. The goal is to enhance business performance of participating companies through intensive education and produce high-quality business plans. Participants of 'Under Woman Impact Community' can also receive consulting for participation in 'Cartier Women's Initiative'. 'Cartier Women's Initiative' is a global program by Cartier that supports women entrepreneurs and started in 2006. It aligns with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), spreads positive social impact, and targets companies where female entrepreneurs who have been in business for less than 6 years hold decision-making authority. If selected as a fellow, participants receive support of $30,000 to $100,000 (approximately 30 million to 100 million Korean won), education including mentoring for entrepreneurial mindset programs, and opportunities for global media exposure. They can also exchange with global female entrepreneurs active as fellows. Currently, 7 'Cartier Women's Initiative' fellows from Korea are active. More detailed information can be found on the Underdogs website (https://underdogs.co.kr/) or Underdogs official YouTube (youtube.com/@underdogs840).
