Jeollanam-do Goheung County and the Jeollanam-do Creative Economy Innovation Center held the '2024 Goheung County Youth Startup Challenge Project' Build-up Camp at Sunvalley Resort in Goheung County from the 29th to the 31st of last month and took commemorative photos. According to the Jeollanam-do Creative Economy Innovation Center on the 1st, the 'Goheung County Youth Startup Challenge Project' is a project that supports successful entrepreneurship by providing customized startup education including fostering entrepreneurship and improving business plans, as well as commercialization funds to young entrepreneurs planning to start a business in Goheung County. The Jeollanam-do Creative Economy Innovation Center has been promoting this project since 2021. The camp was conducted for 3 days with 16 applicants who passed the screening for the '2024 Goheung County Youth Startup Challenge Project,' in collaboration with Underdogs Co., Ltd., providing education on startup item diagnosis and market analysis, as well as establishing business models centered on collaboration and practical training. Following the camp, additional 1:1 online mentoring support was provided to help with future business plan improvements. Eight of the build-up camp graduates will receive up to 18 million won in commercialization funds through subsequent evaluation presentations. Selected participants will receive various programs including 1:1 nurturing mentoring through Jeollanam Outstanding Startup linkage, networking days, and promotional signage production. The center plans to continue follow-up support through connections in sales channels and investment attraction, which are specialized areas of the Jeollanam-do Creative Economy Innovation Center, even after business completion. Kang Jeong-beom, Director of the Jeollanam-do Creative Economy Innovation Center, said, "Through this camp, we hope that young entrepreneurs will strengthen their individual capabilities and boldly leap forward with stable business plans," and added, "We will continue to operate various startup programs together with Goheung County for the future of young entrepreneurs."
