Underdogs, a startup education specialist institution, announced on the 15th that it has secured 16 billion won in cumulative orders as of July 2024. This exceeds the entire previous year's performance in just 6 months, marking the highest achievement in Underdogs' history. Underdogs is experiencing its best business period since its founding. The company has been expanding its order size at an average annual growth rate of 70%, showing steep growth every year. By the end of this year, it is expected to record 20 billion won in orders. Underdogs' strong first-half performance is attributed to aggressive business expansion through customized support aligned with entrepreneurs' life cycles. Beyond its existing startup education and consulting business, Underdogs is diversifying its business areas into MICE, marketing services, and HRD consulting sectors. The core strategy of Underdogs' business in the first half of this year was to provide comprehensive support throughout the entire startup life cycle that entrepreneurs experience, going beyond simply teaching "how" to start a business, enabling them to build healthy and sustainable businesses. Riding on this growth momentum, Underdogs plans to continue domestic and international business expansion. As part of this, Underdogs has signed an MOU with 'Lepton Technologies,' led by CEO Lee Se-young, an alumnus nurtured through Underdogs' startup education programs, and plans to launch an AI coach service based on generative AI within the year. Additionally, starting with an entrepreneurship and Japanese startup coach training program to be conducted in Japan within the year, Underdogs has launched full-scale global business expansion in collaboration with overseas partners in Asia including Japan, India, Mongolia, and Brunei. Kim Jung-heon, CEO of Underdogs, said, "I am pleased that Underdogs, marking its 9th anniversary this year, has achieved record-breaking performance. As Underdogs enters its golden era, we are on the verge of another leap forward through domestic and international business expansion, and we appreciate your continued support."
