According to Busan Creative Economy on the 13th, "I'm in Busan" is a Busan ESG platform built through a business agreement signed in July by Busan Creative Economy, SK E&S, and Underdogs to promote platform-based community problem-solving projects. "I'm in" is a naming of "I'm in (I will participate)" that emphasizes citizen participation and expresses citizens' determination to actively participate in ESG activities. It pursues a sense of community where citizens practice social responsibility together and cooperate for a sustainable future, with the goal of expanding from Busan to nationwide. Through "I'm in Busan," diverse stakeholders including Busan citizens, companies, institutions, and universities discover local social issues through participation and communication, participating companies propose solutions to social problems through creative business models based on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and host institutions support and nurture participating companies. "I'm in Busan" includes 18 companies selected in the second year of BEF (Busan Economic Activation Support Fund) and 6 companies selected from SK E&S's large and small business cooperation funds. Participating companies will promote projects in various fields including climate crisis response, marine ecosystem conservation, energy transition, and support for socially disadvantaged groups, and plan to hold meetings to share ESG activities and engage with citizens.
