The briefing session was led by Kim Jung-heon, CEO of Underdogs and founder of 'Share House WOOZOO' (a young CEO who has presented solutions to the housing problems of young people in major cities) and Han Young-seop, CEO of the Youth Wallet Training Center. Eligible applicants for the youth startup support project are Gwangmyeong residents aged 15 to 34 who are prospective entrepreneurs, teams capable of starting businesses in Gwangmyeong within the business selection agreement period, and teams able to participate in provided educational and startup programs. First, the city will accept applications until August 7, select the final 10 teams, and provide professional development support services including office space for startup activities and continuous startup management consulting to ensure successful business models land smoothly in the market through multi-faceted support. Mayor Yang Ki-dae of Gwangmyeong said, "In September, we plan to establish a youth startup support center at the newly opened Job Creation Hub Center to provide space and startup support for dedicated Gwangmyeong youth. Although these are difficult times, the government and local government are working hard to help as much as young people make efforts, so please stay strong."
