Social Pitching Contest to Form Collaboration Networks Among Participants from 18th to 30th This Month On September 30th, the second stage 'Startup Incubating' of the Daegu Social Economy Startup Master Course was held at Pyeongsan Academy in Chilgok, Gyeongbuk, under the Daegu Social Economy Support Center. From the 18th to 30th of this month, the 'Social Pitching Contest,' the third stage program of the Daegu Social Economy Startup Master Course, will be held under the theme 'Entrepreneurs Changing the World with Good Will.' The Daegu Social Economy Support Center's Startup Master Course is an educational program that discovers and nurtures prospective nonprofit activists, social enterprise founders, and cooperative founders in the region, focusing on practical startup education. The educational goal is to conduct long-term startup preparation processes for prospective entrepreneurs and form collaborative networks among participants. The first stage course was conducted as a social entrepreneur relay lecture series. In the second stage course 'Startup Incubating,' prospective entrepreneurs materialized and concretized their startup ideas according to the 'Six-Step Methodology for Founding Social Economy Organizations' containing the know-how of 'Underdogs,' a group of social economy startup experts. This third stage social pitching contest will proceed with final business model presentations from prospective entrepreneurs refined through stages 1 and 2, and feedback from regional social entrepreneurs. Key educational focuses include guiding the transition and expansion of already-founded enterprises into the social economy sector and discovering prospective social economy organizations. Meanwhile, the Social Pitching Contest will be held in order: 'Social Startup Master Camp' on the 18th-19th, 'Final Coaching' on the 23rd, and 'Social Pitching Talk Talk' on the 30th. At Social Pitching Talk Talk, participants who have completed stages 1, 2, and 3 will present their final ideas and participate in 'Conversation with Daegu Social Entrepreneurs.'
