Coway held the launch ceremony for 'Coway Wisschool 3rd Generation' at its headquarters in Jung-gu, Seoul on the 28th, the company announced on the 30th. Coway Wisschool is a shared value creation program that supports young people's successful entrepreneurship. Starting in 2016, the program aims to pass on business know-how and experience held by the company to young entrepreneurs preparing to start businesses and provide necessary educational training. On this day, Coway CEO Lee Hae-sun delivered a welcome address, and KAIST Professor Cho Sung-joo gave a lecture. Approximately 30 youth startup teams selected for Wisschool 3rd Generation will participate in a startup idea contest linking environmental home appliances and beauty with Internet of Things (IoT) and artificial intelligence (AI) technology. Education from startup experts and professional mentoring from Coway employees, including CEO Lee Hae-sun, will also be provided. On July 21st, young entrepreneurs will present business items they have developed over approximately three months, and excellent participants will receive prize money through judging. At the launch ceremony, CEO Lee Hae-sun said, "Entrepreneurship must be learned properly and systematically to reduce the probability of failure," and "Coway Wisschool plays a role in helping successful entrepreneurship by sharing the company's capabilities and know-how with young people." KAIST Professor Cho Sung-joo gave a lecture on the topic of 'Starting Technology Entrepreneurship with Lean Startup.' On May 12th, CEO Lee Hae-sun will give a lecture on 'Entrepreneurship and Business Concepts in a New Era.'
