Underdogs announced that it will hold the 2018 ASIA TOMORROW (From Seoul and Beyond) event for 5 days from September 10-14 at Sangsang Maru on the 2nd floor of Seoul Innovation Park's Sangsang Cheong. The event is planned to invite social innovators and startup development institution officials from Asian countries including Thailand, Hong Kong, and the Philippines to share the current status and know-how of social innovation in each country and reflect them in future social innovation content. The event will cover topics such as understanding Korean social innovation startups, business cases of Asian social innovation startups, national mapping of social innovation startup sectors, and sharing of Underdogs' entrepreneurship methodologies. Kim Young-joo, Director of Underdogs, stated, "There is a need for a venue where social innovation startup support institutions and entities playing a pivotal role in Asia's sustainable development can analyze intensive nurturing programs and explore cooperation methods." He added, "Through this opportunity, we plan to establish concrete collaboration plans and conduct active exchanges and cooperative projects in the field of social innovation startup development between Korea and Asian countries."
