Underdogs, a social innovation startup education company led by CEO Jo Sang-rae, announced that it is recruiting participants for the 3rd session of 'Underwomen,' a program targeting women in their 30s and 40s interested in entrepreneurship and career transitions. The 'Underwomen' program, which will be held over two days on the 18th and 19th at Underdogs' internal space, is a startup education program for women that has been run by Underdogs since 2018. It is a specialized course that discovers startup ideas by leveraging corporate know-how and developing perspectives. The program was designed in the context of presenting alternatives to women in their 30s and 40s seeking turning points in their careers, such as entrepreneurship. The main target is women who actively want to start their own business ventures or find ways to maintain job sustainability. 'Underwomen' provides not only practical processes for entrepreneurship but also networking opportunities for community building. Additionally, participants receive multiple benefits including data-driven team building solutions developed by Underdogs, education and 1:1 coaching from a coaching team comprised of former and current entrepreneurs, and 24-hour access to coworking spaces in Seoul Innovation Park. After completing the program, participants receive priority participation in Underdogs' startup education courses, three additional 1:1 mentoring sessions, and support connecting with investment and support institutions for startups. When needed, participants also benefit from continued use of collaborative spaces and access to 'Underspace,' which is operated by Underdogs. Kim Ho-jung, Director of Underdogs who planned 'Underwomen,' said, "We prepared this program so that the concerns of women in their 30s and 40s can be demonstrated as their greatest capabilities," and added, "We look forward to meeting women who are currently in the process of finding themselves through this program."
