Incheon International Airport Corporation and Underdogs announced on the 25th that the 'Seoul Value Trip for Vietnamese Social Entrepreneurs' program has begun. A total of three Vietnamese social entrepreneurs visited Korea at the invitation of Incheon International Airport Corporation. They were selected as outstanding entrepreneurs from the 'Phase 3 Value Trip Program - Social Entrepreneurship Perspective Workshop for Early-stage Startups in Vietnam,' which was held in July through collaboration with the Foundation Working Together. The three entrepreneurs have various social problem-solving projects including women's menstrual rights, youth career guidance, and eco-friendly organic soap. During their 4-night, 5-day itinerary through the 28th, they will participate in advanced education on Korea's social economy ecosystem, build networks between Korean and Vietnamese social enterprises, and explore cooperation strategies. In particular, the Foundation Working Together plans to provide relevant lectures and various support programs. Underdogs Co., Ltd. (CEO Kim Jung-heon), a social enterprise, oversaw the planning and operation of this Vietnamese social entrepreneur invitation social innovation training program. Underdogs participated as the 'Value Trip Team' in Vietnam in July, providing basic social innovation startup education to the social entrepreneurs and overseeing their selection. The company stated it will actively apply the know-how acquired through social innovation startup education to support the growth of Vietnamese social entrepreneurs in this invitation program. Local social entrepreneur Vu Quang Tu expressed his expectation, saying, 'I operate a social enterprise to solve youth career problems in Vietnam, and I want to learn and cooperate with Korean senior social entrepreneurs on how they address these issues.' CEO Kim Jung-heon of Underdogs stated, 'International expansion, market development, and cooperation with overseas social enterprises are crucial for the long-term growth of Korean social enterprises. Fostering social entrepreneurs in developing countries itself realizes social value. Through cooperation with them, Korea's social economy can also grow, and through this invitation training program, we will further contribute to realizing global social value.'
