The 'DB Insurance Traffic and Environment Challenge' is a corporate social responsibility initiative hosted by DB Insurance, organized by the Korea Productivity Center, sponsored by the Ministry of Environment, and supported by Underdogs. The program discovers social ventures that solve social problems in the traffic and environment sectors through business models and provides business funding, education, and accelerating support. The demo day is a grand finale event following the final selection of 5 social venture teams in June, the provision of a total of 190 million won in support funds, and 10 weeks of accelerating support. The online event began with opening remarks by Koh Young-joo, head of management support at DB Insurance, and remarks by Kim Dong-su, head of the sustainable management promotion division at the Korea Productivity Center. The program included presentations of the DB Challenge Impact Report, business presentations and live Q&A sessions from 5 challenger teams in the 2nd cohort, and growth updates and live Q&A from 1 challenger team from the 1st cohort. An official from the Korea Productivity Center's Sustainable Management Center stated, "Through this demo day, it was a meaningful time to share the business models and future vision of participating companies with many people," and added, "We hope that participating companies will continue their medium to long-term growth based on the 'DB Insurance Traffic and Environment Challenge 2nd' project."
