On its 5th anniversary, Underdogs announced that it will leap forward as an 'Innovation Startup Platform' that supports entrepreneurship in general based on content and community for entrepreneurs and startups. Underdogs, which received social enterprise certification from the Ministry of Employment and Labor in 2019, has established a new slogan 'Entrepreneurship Differently' and brand identity under the vision of becoming an innovation startup platform. Additionally, it will enhance its own startup education content and strengthen online and offline accessibility and networking. It will focus on five areas: building a non-face-to-face startup education system, strengthening original startup education content, operating a coworking community space, fostering an entrepreneur community and startup coaching community. First, to advance the non-face-to-face startup education system that will become common in the post-Corona era, Underdogs will launch a startup education e-learning website, strengthen online coaching, and conduct 100% online startup education. Simultaneously, it will accelerate the development of local and global startup ecosystems. It plans to expand its global startup education project, which has collaborated with 37 partners in 25 cities worldwide since 2018, focusing on Asia. Original startup education content containing key insights and learnings from educating over 8,300 social innovation entrepreneurs over the past five years will continue to be presented through publications, videos, and workshops. Since September, Underdogs has been publishing , which contains Underdogs' unique startup methodology and startup case studies. In January next year, Underdogs will open a coworking community space in Jongno-gu, Seoul. This is a new space for Underdogs following 'Localize Gunsan,' which is recognized for solving local social issues and leading local business competitiveness. Rather than simply providing workspace for entrepreneurs and startups, it is a small, customized coworking space that supports growth and experience through startup education, coaching, and networking programs. Based on this practical startup software and hardware expertise, Underdogs plans to expand the operation of the entrepreneur community 'ud.crew' and the startup coaching community 'ud.partner coach,' which nurtures solo startup coaches and works with them as partners, to foster the growth of domestic and international entrepreneurs and create a vibrant startup ecosystem. Kim Jung-heon, CEO of Underdogs, stated, 'The role of social innovation entrepreneurs has become more important to solve complex and diverse social problems caused by COVID-19,' and added, 'We will move forward as an innovation startup platform company that leads social innovation entrepreneurs to grow and makes the startup ecosystem and society healthier.'
