Underdogs, a startup content and community company led by CEO Kim Jung-heon and Cho Sang-rae, is recruiting participants for 'Underwomen 4th Session,' a startup education program designed to help women in their 30s and 40s launch social ventures. 'Underwomen' is a women's startup education program that Underdogs has been running since 2018. It was launched to help women in their 30s and 40s whose careers have been interrupted by marriage and childcare to grow as entrepreneurs based on their capabilities and perspectives on social innovation. The 4th session program is jointly hosted by Underdogs, The Heart Company which operates education and community for millennial women raising children, and MomMate Company which dreams of and plans changes in mothers' lives together. The education is structured as a practical curriculum covering the entire initial startup process and will be conducted over 8 weeks every Saturday evening on Underdogs' own e-learning platform. Additionally, a team of coaches with experience as former and current entrepreneurs will provide one-on-one coaching to help female (prospective) entrepreneurs achieve their goals, in various ways. After the education, a community service is provided so that women entrepreneurs can share information about startups with each other. Those who participate in the alumni community of Underdogs' startup education can also use space services. Applications for Underwomen 4th Session can be made through the Underdogs website by the 20th. Park Dae-eun, CEO of The Heart Company and partner coach at Underdogs, who oversaw the program planning, said, "I hope the Underwomen program will serve as a stepping stone for talented women in their 30s and 40s to grow into true entrepreneurs." Kim Min-sook, CEO of MomMate Company, said, "I expect this program to become a platform for realizing the dreams of women in their 30s and 40s living as mothers, and to spark a new wave of women's power."
