Shinsegae TV Shopping announced on the 7th that it will introduce 'The On Air Plus Program' to support young people who wish to enter the new media field. 'The On Air Plus Program' is a new corporate social responsibility initiative by Shinsegae TV Shopping designed to provide education and entrepreneurship opportunities for young people who aspire to become one-person broadcast producers (content creators) or wish to systematically learn about content production. In the process of developing new media businesses such as the mobile live broadcast 'Shinsegae TV Shopping Live' and YouTube channel 'Shin T Show,' Shinsegae TV Shopping recognized the keen interest of young people seeking to enter the content creation field and planned a corporate social responsibility project reflecting this demand. In collaboration with Korea's leading MCN company 'Sandbox Networks' and startup education specialist 'Underdogs,' the program curriculum was structured as a specialized content creation and startup education course that can be immediately applied in practice. After completing the program, participants will be supported to actively engage on various online platforms. Applications are being accepted through a dedicated website until the 26th. Any young person (individual or team) aged 19 to 39 who wishes to start or find employment as a one-person media content creator can apply. A total of 30 trainees will be selected through first-round document screening and second-round interviews. Selected finalists will receive six weeks of training starting February 17th, along with special lectures from industry experts, insight discovery, and consulting. A Shinsegae TV Shopping official stated, 'We have structured the program comprehensively so that young people can prepare for media creator careers as a profession, not just a hobby,' adding, 'We hope this becomes an opportunity to bring vitality to the sluggish job market.'
