The vocational competency development training institution certification evaluation grants participation eligibility in the Ministry of Employment and Labor's vocational training projects based on comprehensive criteria including soundness, training outcomes, and competency. Underdogs' online site 'START YOURS' received initial certification and obtained a 1-year rating. Through this, users of Underdogs START YOURS (client companies and workers) can now receive education course refund benefits. Lee Jun-hee, General Manager of Underdogs START YOURS, stated, 'As the businesses of solo entrepreneurs and small startup teams that Underdogs has coached and educated have expanded, we felt the need for job training. Based on 6 years of offline startup education expertise, we have entered the job training market. In this era of diversification, we will play a role as a training institution providing job training to enhance workers' competitiveness.' Underdogs launched 'START YOURS' in April as an online education site and completed preparations as a blended learning platform combining the advantages of online and offline education to increase educational effectiveness and accessibility as a training institution. Additionally, with a pool of experts who have produced 10,000 startup graduates, Underdogs can more easily develop its own content, allowing students to take education courses rarely seen at other companies. The company plans to actively source external content and propose customized job training courses best suited to client companies based on rich content. Differentiated content is being prepared including millennial job training, ESG education, practical startup education, and re-employment education for large company retirees (or those expected to retire). Furthermore, Underdogs will launch a private certification program related to the social sector in October. Through training content review, it plans to operate it as a refund course, supporting workers seeking to develop expertise in the social sector with education fee refund benefits.
