Underdogs, an educational company specializing in practical startup training, has launched a new space in Waryong-dong, Jongno-gu, consisting of one basement level and five above-ground floors. This is the third location following the company's first space in Bulkwang, Seoul, and second location in Younghwa-dong, Gunsan. The first and fifth floors of the Waryong-dong space serve small business owners, with the café 'FARGO' and restaurant 'Kitchen Today' opening there. The third and fourth floors house a coworking space for startup teams that have completed Underdogs' educational programs. Underdogs explained that over six years, the company has discovered and nurtured approximately 10,000 innovative entrepreneurs domestically and internationally, leading them to recognize the importance of providing spaces where entrepreneurs can focus on their ventures. With the launch of the Waryong-dong location, Underdogs now operates three startup spaces. The existing two spaces include the Bulkwang location (second) that promotes interaction among social innovators and supports their growth, and the Gunsan location (first) that provides a foundation for any local entrepreneur to start a business easily. The company plans to expand regional startup spaces so that local entrepreneurs can receive equal educational benefits and build their businesses. Notably, Underdogs has recently transitioned to a blended learning approach combining online and offline strengths. The company now provides startup founders with both online education and offline experiences. On the online platform 'START YOURS,' entrepreneurs can access continuous educational content, while offline programming includes demo days and success-sharing sessions that enhance practical experience and increase educational depth. Underdogs CEO Kim Jung-heon stated: "In an era where everything is shifting online, offline experiences are becoming increasingly important. I believe we need a flexible approach where online and offline are not independent choices but can be seamlessly integrated based on purpose," adding "We plan to help entrepreneurs expand the educational content they acquire online through our physical spaces."
