Underdogs, an entrepreneurship education company (co-representatives Kim Jung-heon and Jo Sang-rae), announced that it will operate the 'Underdogs Partner Building (UDPB)' program starting October 2021, which discovers and nurtures startup experts to join as 'crew' members of Underdogs. The UDPB program aims to create a successful collaboration model that expands the impact of social innovation entrepreneurship education with crews nationwide, based on Underdogs' startup expertise and experience as a practical entrepreneurship education specialist. To this end, all processes have been carefully planned to discover talented individuals in the startup field and create collaboration synergies through mutual growth. In particular, field-specific experts from within Underdogs will be actively involved to provide customized, practical, and hands-on education. As a start, Underdogs will recruit participants for the UDPB program from October 25 to November 12, 2021. The company plans to select approximately 20 candidates across two recruitment categories: overall business managers who plan and operate startup programs, and startup coaches who conduct startup lectures and coaching. Selected participants will go through a preliminary orientation and participate in the core curriculum 'ud Crew Building Workshop,' gaining opportunities to effectively acquire Underdogs' startup education expertise and practical know-how. Anyone with experience in social innovation startup-related projects or in conducting education and coaching for startup teams, and who intends to continue activities in the startup field, can apply. Crew members who successfully complete the training will play key roles in startup programs conducted nationwide with Underdogs for the next year. Additionally, they will have opportunities to develop various competencies as startup field experts, including participating in regular networking sessions with startup representatives and founding teams, planning startup education projects, and developing startup curricula. Jo Sang-rae, co-representative of Underdogs overseeing this program, stated: "Through our experience planning and operating entrepreneurship education programs in diverse environments and backgrounds across the country, we have confirmed the positive effects of our startup programs and gained insights into successful methods and formulas. By sharing this expertise and collaborating with capable startup experts and crews nationwide, we expect long-term effects of broadly expanding the various resources and opportunities that were previously concentrated in the Seoul metropolitan area." More detailed information about the UDPB program is available on the Underdogs website, and inquiries can be made via email.
