Ten startups that completed the 3rd educational program of 'Cultural Arts Social Economy SEORO: Start Support (Operator Underdogs)' hosted and organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Arts Management Support Center will showcase their online booth 'Way of Artist' by November 20. 'SEORO: Start Support' is an educational program that cultivates social economy entrepreneurs in the cultural arts field. Since 2019, it has supported teams with startup ideas at the early stages of business to advance to actual business stages. The recently completed 3rd educational program ran for 19 weeks with 10 participating teams. Through this, a total of 32 startups have been produced. 'Way of Artist' was planned to allow the 10 startups that completed the 3rd training to verify business possibilities through contact with the public. At the online booth, visitors can check the social issues the startups are addressing, their solutions, and the startup stories of why they want to solve social problems through cultural arts. Additionally, as it is designed as an online booth, anyone can easily access it and actively communicate with the startups through the chat window. The 3rd startups include Rhythm, a youth artist organization dedicated to talent donation through cultural arts to solve medical expenses for patients with catastrophic medical bills through media content; Artstream, an external viewing platform that addresses internal issues in art museums due to the increase in media art works; Inside Art, a content platform that works with solo creators; and Puer Oa, which creates education to enjoy art rather than education to develop children's artistic talents. Visitors can also meet various startup teams solving social problems through cultural arts. Jun-kyung Choi, manager of Underdogs who promoted Way of Artist, stated the purpose: 'Attempts to solve social problems from a cultural arts perspective have not been well known. We planned this event to showcase diverse items with social missions in the cultural arts field to the public. Since these are early-stage startups that have just released their solutions, we ask for your continued interest so they can grow.'
