SK Nexcilys, Underdogs, Jeongup City, and the Youth Support Center are jointly recruiting young entrepreneurs who will solve local problems using Jeongup's resources and revitalize the city's original downtown area. 'Joy'n Jeongup' (hereafter Joy'n Jeongup) is a local revitalization project (operated by Underdogs) jointly promoted by Jeongup City and SK Nexcilys for mutual development of the regional community. Last October, they established 'Shared Shops Nos. 1 and 2' near Samgoheul Market on Cheonbyeon-ro in Jeongup City, a space for prospective young entrepreneurs and local creators. The Joy'n Jeongup Local Youth Startup Education program is designed to strengthen the self-reliance capabilities of young entrepreneurs in the Jeongup area and will be conducted based on Underdogs' locally specialized startup education curriculum with expertise in startup education. This education program targets youth aged 18 to 39 with registered addresses in Jeongup City. It is aimed at prospective entrepreneurs with the will to solve regional problems in Jeongup's original downtown area and established entrepreneurs within 3 years seeking to start businesses with new business models in the original downtown. A total of 20 teams will be recruited. They will receive 10 weeks of education and one-on-one coaching at the Jeongup City Youth Support Center from April 5 to June 7, with benefits including free use of the Joy'n Jeongup Shared Office (scheduled to open in April) for 6 months. Following the education, outstanding teams will be selected through evaluation. Outstanding prospective entrepreneurs will be provided with △startup support funds linked to Jeongup City's Youth Development Fund and △consulting programs led by the Youth Support Center. Established entrepreneurs can receive support linked to Joy'n Jeongup's small business consulting program. Additionally, both prospective and established entrepreneurs will receive bonus points when applying to enter Joy'n Jeongup's shared shops. The recruitment period for the Joy'n Jeongup Local Youth Startup Education Program runs from February 14 to March 7. Applicants should download the application form from the Joy'n Jeongup website and submit it via email. Detailed information about the education program is available on the Joy'n Jeongup website.
