Recruiting About 10 Teams of Preliminary and Early-Stage Startups in Culture and Arts by May 11 Educational support provided from startup personality analysis workshop to completion of business plan and mock investment process Startup education specialist company Underdogs will recruit participating teams for the '2022 Youth Startup Scale-up!' program in collaboration with Seongbuk-gu until May 11, discovering and nurturing preliminary and early-stage entrepreneurs in the culture and arts sector. The Youth Startup Scale-up program was created to support individuals or teams seeking various startup opportunities in the culture and arts field, helping them establish and develop their startup vision independently. Anyone aged 19 to 39 who is preparing to start a business based on culture and arts or has startup experience of less than one year can apply. Applications can be submitted through the Underdogs website or Google Form. After recruitment and screening, approximately 10 teams will be selected, with priority given to residents of Seongbuk-gu and Seoul residents in that order. Underdogs will provide practical startup education for six weeks from late May to mid-July for the selected teams. Starting with the 'Underdogs Entrepreneur Personality Analysis (DOGS test)' workshop that helps self-exploration to become an entrepreneur, the company will provide specialized education for practical startups, including market analysis and entrepreneurial perspective essential for business item development, prototype design, completion of business plans, and mock investment processes. Throughout this process, an 'Underdogs Coach,' a senior entrepreneur in the culture and arts field, will be assigned one-on-one to each startup team, providing mentorship based on actual startup experience to enhance completion quality. The actual education will be conducted through a blended learning approach combining online live and streaming methods via Underdogs' content platform 'Underdogs Archive (formerly Start Your Story)' and offline one-on-one coaching at 'Seongbuk-gu Youth Space Girieum.' After the education is completed, outstanding startup teams will be selected based on task performance, and opportunities will be provided to support the selected teams' startup items and to prioritize participation in programs conducted at Girieum. Additionally, completion certificates will be issued to all those who exceed the minimum achievement standards.
