Underdogs, a leading startup education company, and Startup Recipe signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on the 25th at Seoul Startup Hub in Mapo, Seoul for 'the growth of innovative entrepreneurs and sustainable development of the startup ecosystem.' Based on the MOU, Underdogs and Startup Recipe plan to jointly highlight their activities in an increasingly diverse startup ecosystem and conduct joint research. Notably, they plan to jointly operate a 'local reporter group' that conveys the living voices of regional startups together with entrepreneurs discovered and nurtured through Underdogs, partner coaches, and social figures across the country. Since its founding in 2015, Underdogs has been a startup education specialist that has discovered and nurtured over 10,000 entrepreneurs nationwide as of 2022. Starting with the 'Underdogs Military Academy,' the company has introduced practical coaching education to the startup education market and is leading the era of nationwide startup education through programs such as 'Localize Gunsan' and 'Hana Social Venture University.' Startup Recipe is a startup media and investment data platform that combines content subscription models like newsletters and investment reports with web services. It also operates Tech Recipe, a technology-focused media outlet. Additionally, it has formed media partnerships with 18 media outlets across 15 countries including China, France, Indonesia, the Middle East, and India, and aims to establish itself as a global infrastructure that promotes domestic startups and technology overseas.
