[Venture Square] Underdogs and Igis Asset Management Recruit Participants for Space-Based Entrepreneur Fostering Program 'Igis Impact Stage'

Underdogs, a startup education specialist company led by CEO Cho Sang-rae, is recruiting startup teams to participate in the 'Aegis Impact Stage' with Aegis Asset Management (represented by Lee Gyu-sung, Kang Young-gu, and Shin Dong-hun) by 4 p.m. on September 1st. The Aegis Impact Stage is a program that cultivates and supports entrepreneurs who create social value through innovative technology and new business models in the space sector. The target is pre-startup teams or early-stage startup teams with less than 3 years of operation, and any team of 3 or fewer members dreaming of solving social problems in the space field can apply. Following first round written screening and second round face-to-face screening, 10 final participating teams will be selected in the fourth week of September. The 10 final participating teams will receive practical startup education from September to December, including △startup education specialized in space-based startup courses △startup innovation methodology △1:1 Underdogs coaching for startup team performance management △expert mentoring and special lectures on space-based businesses. A performance-sharing event will be held in December, and depending on educational outcomes, teams will receive business support funding of △1st place (1 team) 50 million won △2nd place (1 team) 30 million won △3rd place (2 teams) 15 million won each. Additionally, all participating teams will receive 3 million won each for MVP testing support. Furthermore, investment review for follow-up support is being prepared for outstanding teams. Meanwhile, on August 18th during the recruitment period, a preliminary briefing session will be released in video format through YouTube. The session will feature 'Introduction of Aegis Impact Stage by the program manager' and 'Lectures by speakers who created social value through space.' Speakers include △Kim Young-rok, CEO of NineWatt, who discovered hidden energy problems in cities through data and artificial intelligence (AI) △Choi Won-seok, CEO of ProjectRent, who made it easier for small business owners to meet consumers in small spaces. Underdogs CEO Cho Sang-rae stated, "Underdogs has cultivated over 10,000 innovative entrepreneurs nationwide and has worked together to solve various problems faced by local communities across the country and create business impact." He added, "We hope that together with Aegis Asset Management, which is leading ESG management, we can create a corporate ecosystem that can solve various social problems inherent in spaces."
