E-commerce platform 'Cafe24' announced on the 23rd that a 'Small Business Owner Online Shopping Mall Construction (Proprietary Mall) Program' jointly prepared with Gangneung-Wonju National University and ESG comprehensive solution company U.D. Impact has launched. This program is a free practical training course for small business owners and prospective entrepreneurs in the Wonju area who wish to expand their online sales channels. The program received tremendous response, with applications exceeding the first-come-first-served quota of 40 people within just four days of recruitment, leading to early closure of enrollment. The training course runs for a total of 10 sessions over 6 weeks, beginning with the first lecture on the 22nd and continuing until the 29th of next month. The course is structured as a practical training program combining theory and hands-on practice to help online business operators begin shopping mall construction and sales simultaneously while receiving instruction. Particularly in the 9th session, an e-commerce expert from Cafe24 will appear to share success secrets verified through shopping mall big data and provide real-time Q&A sessions to resolve the challenges online business operators face in the field. This program is provided as free educational training for social contribution purposes to expand online sales channels for small business owners in the Wonju area and will be conducted at Gangneung-Wonju National University's Field Experience Center. Cafe24 additionally provides free access to its own added services to training participants to help them effectively grow their businesses. Going forward, Cafe24 plans to continue expanding opportunities for small business owners and prospective entrepreneurs in the region to easily challenge and grow in online business through industry-academia cooperation.
