The final top three teams selected were △Grand Prize: Muyongdam (second-hand clothing consignment sales service with influencers) △Excellence Award: Artist Aura (data analysis-based manager subscription service) △Award of Merit: Yeopjip Art (exhibition-focused meetup service). The 'IR Demo Day' of the '2022 Culture and Arts Social Economy SEORO: Start Support Project' was held on November 10, 2022 at The North Company, hosted and organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (Minister Park Bo-gyun) and the Arts Management Support Center (Director Moon Young-ho), and operated by Underdogs, a startup education specialist company (CEO Jo Sang-rae). The 'Culture and Arts Social Economy SEORO: Start Support Project' is a nurturing program that selects preliminary social economy startup teams with ideas in the culture and arts field and supports their growth into early-stage social economy startup teams. Since its inception in 2019, this year marks the 4th cohort, and to date, a total of 41 social innovation startup teams in the culture and arts field have been fostered, including the 4th cohort startup teams. Nine teams, finally selected through a startup idea competition among 20 teams that passed the document review in May 2022, underwent five months of intensive education based on social innovation startup methodology and in-depth training consisting of practical seminars and consulting (law, taxation, funding, etc.), and presented their achievements at the 'IR Demo Day,' the final event of the program. The final top three teams were selected as △Grand Prize: Muyongdam (second-hand clothing consignment sales service with influencers) △Excellence Award: Artist Aura (data analysis-based manager subscription service) △Award of Merit: Yeopjip Art (exhibition-focused meetup service). A total of 10 million won in prize money was distributed differentially to the three final excellent teams to support the growth of their businesses after the event. In addition to presentations introducing items from nine teams at the IR Demo Day, 10 AC/VCs were invited as mock investment panels to conduct mock investments for each team's items, and after the presentation evaluation, networking was conducted through booth exhibitions. In particular, to create a natural networking atmosphere, the mock investment panel members voted for the three most memorable teams with gold leaf checks provided in advance, and Muyongdam (second-hand clothing consignment sales service with influencers), which received the most applause and votes by aggregating gold coins by team, won the Popularity Award. The judges included Mun Ji-yeon, CEO of Goodwin Ventures, Shin Hyo-jun, CEO of Nine A&M, Lee Bum-jun, CEO of AG Investment, Hong Sung-jae, Professor at Hansung University, and Jo Sang-rae, CEO of Underdogs. Choi Jun-kyung, Manager of Underdogs who planned the IR Demo Day, stated the purpose: "We planned the event with booth exhibitions to showcase the capabilities of startup teams pursuing social missions in the culture and arts field and the charm of their items in more diverse ways. We hope this event will serve as an opportunity to confirm the growth potential of startup teams seeking to achieve both profitability and social value." Furthermore, Moon Young-ho, CEO of the Arts Management Support Center, said, "We will continue to be a solid supporter in promoting impact investment attraction for arts enterprises."
