The Aegis Impact Stage, held on the 16th, is a program that nurtures and supports entrepreneurs who aim to create social value in spaces through innovative technology and new business models. As part of ESG (Environment, Social, and Governance) management, Aegis Asset Management planned this program to create a corporate ecosystem capable of solving various social problems related to spaces. Ten teams that underwent a systematic startup nurturing process for 12 weeks starting in September were ranked based on on-site evaluation of demo day presentations and assessments of the 12-week nurturing process. The on-site evaluation was conducted by Shin Hee-sang, Executive Director of New Business Division at Aegis Asset Management; Kim Ui-kyung, Head of Venture Division at Aegis Investment Partners; Cho Sang-rae, CEO of Underdogs; and Han Ki-sun, Director of Better Economy Social Cooperative. The Grand Prize (prize money 50 million won) was won by 'Rootrix,' which operates a tree brokerage platform. As a company that provides services making tree purchasing experiences enjoyable and convenient based on efficient data collection technology, its goal is to expand green spaces in urban areas through efficient trading and distribution market creation. Rootrix CEO Ahn Jeong-rok said in his acceptance speech, "I believe that informing more people about the value of beautiful nature and moving them is a fundamental solution to overcoming the climate crisis," and "I will dedicate my life to this business." The Grand Prize (prize money 30 million won) went to 'Echrox,' which provides solutions that simultaneously purify air and control humidity in buildings through built-in ceiling dehumidification and air purification systems while reducing cooling and heating energy consumption. The Excellent Prize (prize money 15 million won) went to 'Beatings,' which created restroom information and accommodation reservation services for people with disabilities, and 'ListenTo,' which is promoting a music socializing cultural space business for MZ generation.
