Startup Camp for 50 Middle School Students Held Over 3 Nights and 4 Days Program Strengthens Problem-Solving Skills, Entrepreneurial Spirit, and Collaborative Abilities ▲ Underdogs and '15 Minutes to Change the World' operate 'Sebasi Youth Startup Camp.' Underdogs, a startup education specialist company, is operating the 'Sebasi Youth Startup Camp' in collaboration with '15 Minutes to Change the World.' The Sebasi Youth Startup Camp is an expanded version of the 'Sebasi Youth Camp,' which gained significant support through self-reflection and speaking education. It provides startup education coaching to help students discover social problems and develop the ability to solve them creatively. The camp will be held as a 3-night, 4-day residential program from January 16 to January 19, 2023, at YBM Training Center in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province, for 50 middle school students. During the camp, coaches from current and former entrepreneurs, including Underdogs CEO Jo Sang-rae, and professional operations managers will provide live startup lectures, one-on-one coaching, and 24-hour care. The startup lectures are based on a curriculum created from Underdogs' startup methodology. On the final day of the camp, students will participate in IR pitching and awards ceremony based on startup ideas they have selected. Camp registration will be conducted on a first-come, first-served basis for 14 days until January 8, 2023, with a tuition fee of 990,000 won. Underdogs assessed that through practical startup-based education from team building to item specification, market research, business plan writing, and IR pitching, the camp will strengthen young people's problem-solving abilities, entrepreneurial spirit, and startup competencies. Additionally, team activities included in the curriculum will develop communication and collaboration skills. The workshop-based education, which is grounded in participation and experience, allows students to directly experience entrepreneurship and contemplate their paths. CEO Jo Sang-rae of Underdogs stated, "I am even more excited to be participating in the youth startup camp following the '15 Minutes to Change the World' lectures," and added, "The startup education at the camp will be the most dramatic experience and knowledge-providing venue for career planning and self-growth because students will directly experience every step of the process." Meanwhile, since 2015, Underdogs has been working to develop prospective and early-stage entrepreneurs into innovative entrepreneurs who transform communities and society through startup education content and practical startup education conducted by its coaching team.
