The Busan Creative Economy Innovation Center announced on the 27th that it will operate the 'B.Startup Local Impact Accelerating Program' that utilizes Busan's local resources. The 'B.Startup Local Impact Accelerating Program' evolves from last year's program that supported branding for consumer goods-based local creators, to this year's enhanced regional focus supporting Busan-type local creators (local creators who use or plan to use Busan's resources). Considering that many local creators remain in the early stages of business, the center plans to provide comprehensive support not only for branding but also for overall startup business operations. The Busan Creative Center will establish 'The Local,' a private expert group, to assist local creators' growth through intensive one-on-one mentoring matching. 'The Local' is composed of startup experts and senior local creators, consisting of seven organizations including Urban Play, Underdogs, Inspired, Hello Austin, Youngdo Culture City Center, Content Group Jaeju Sanghoe, and Urban Bridge. The Busan Creative Center will recruit startups to participate in the program by the 14th of next month. Selected Busan-type local creators will receive support including local insight trips starting with exploration of 'Localize Gunsan' where local creator culture is established, pre-diagnosis workshops, mentoring, startup coaching, meetup days, and business promotion grants. The Busan Creative Center plans to continue follow-up support programs in marketing and distribution channels, including Wadiz partner service support, to ensure effective market settlement beyond one-time programs.
