YD Impact has announced that it has achieved meaningful results in the Indian local market in 2025 and laid the groundwork for future global expansion (Provided by YD Impact). YD Impact's participation in an accelerating program last October was initiated as part of the Seoul Startup Hub Gongdeok Global Expansion Support Project. The activity aimed to verify the possibility of cooperation in startups, education, and CSR primarily in South India. In the Seoul Startup Hub Gongdeok Global Expansion Program, YD Impact generated concrete cooperation outcomes through presentations and networking activities targeting local universities, companies, and startup ecosystem stakeholders. During this period, YD Impact secured 42 new leads and confirmed the possibility of expanding local partnerships. The company also signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with a local partner, entering the stage of concrete cooperation discussions. The presentations delivered to potential local partners received high interest and positive evaluations, which is assessed as reflecting the Indian market's high expectations for YD Impact's execution-oriented startup education model and globally-linked programs. Particularly noteworthy is that the company gained important insights into the startup ecosystem characteristics and educational demands of South India. Students in South India are already actively participating in startup activities, and it was confirmed that they have very high demand for practical mentoring, execution-based education, and global partnership support rather than theory-oriented education. Using this as a foundation, YD Impact confirmed the possibility of expanding its startup education and talent development model beyond its existing Tier 1 major city-focused strategy to Tier 2 and 3 cities. Through its participation in the Seoul Startup Hub Gongdeok Global Expansion Program, YD Impact has built a multi-layered partnership network encompassing universities, government, and companies, and strengthened strategic linkages with India's local startup, education, and CSR ecosystem. Based on this, the company plans to accelerate the implementation of local pilot programs and the launch of co-branded programs starting this year. Lee Tae-hyung, Global Head of YD Impact, stated, "This business trip to Coimbatore was an important turning point that confirmed partnerships and demands that could lead to actual cooperation beyond simple market exploration," adding, "We will progressively expand our startup education and talent development model not only in Tier 1 cities but also to Tier 2-3 cities within the Indian market."
